So being an Italian living in the North it’s a bit daft that I’ve never had a parmo. However, today I decided to make one. I could have gone to the take out, but then why would I want to go to a Greek shop for an Italian dish that’s been prepared by a Turk? Leave the Italian food to the Italians. So here it is, a homemade parmo with homemade pesto and parmesan bread crumbs, homemade passata with homemade tomato and chilli pesto, homemade chips and salad with a homemade balsamic dressing. It was pretty decent, if I do say so myself.
